After taking time to begin a family, Naomi started her own concierge errand service. Pao is based in Quito, Ecuador, where she worked as a math professor at the Universidad San Francisco (USFQ). She taught statistics and researched mathematics teaching and learning as part of the Ecuadorian delegation of the Capacity and Networking Project organized by the International Commission on Mathematical Instruction. She has a BS in Mathematics from USFQ, as well as a Master\u2019s Degree in Education through the Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (Mexico). Manuela brings over ten years of experience gained in various NGOs and nonprofits around the world. A Chilean and Londoner, Manuela has always had strong connections with the Latin American community. In 2015 she made the move to Guatemala and spent two years as T2TGlobal's Country Director. She now makes her home in Barcelona, Spain, where she oversees T2TGlobal's financial and administrative operations. Hans is a graduate of the National State University of Guatemala, where he completed his studies in linguistics. He has worked as a translator and interpreter on several T2TGlobal trips, including the 2013 inaugural visit to Santa Avelina, Guatemala. Hans's in-country presence extends to managing business dealings for T2TGlobal. Callie is based on the coast of Ecuador, where she leads T2TGlobal's global partnerships. She studied Elementary Education at Appalachian State University and has a Master\u2019s Degree in Bilingual Education from the University of Texas at the Permian Basin. A former Teach for America member, she has taught in NC, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. Callie\u2019s deepest desire is to expand opportunities for students from marginalized communities by using education as a tool for social justice. Ali provides the leadership that enables T2TGlobal to carry out its mission. Since a trip to Nepal in 2008 opened Ali\u2019s heart, she has thrown herself into nonprofit work. Ali feels passionately about empowerment through education, and she has applied her exceptional skills toward improving the lives of children around the world. Fluent in Spanish, Ali has traveled to more than 30 countries to volunteer, work, study and explore. From her classroom in Sacatep\u00e9quez, F\u00e1tima witnessed strides being made when T2TGlobal coaches visited her school. She now has taken a leadership role in coaching her peers. She has worked as an elementary and middle school teacher after gaining her Teaching Associate's Degree in Middle School Education with a focus in Physics and Mathematics from the University of San Carlos de Guatemala. Alix came to T2TGlobal following two years developing curriculum and training local teachers for a\u00a0school in rural Guatemala that\u00a0empowers indigenous girls through education. She has lived in Guatemala since 2014 when she was placed in Antigua, Guatemala, as a PILA (Princeton in Latin America) Fellow at Antigua International School.\u00a0Originally from Seattle, WA, Alix earned her Bachelor's and Master\u2019s Degrees from Stanford University in Political Science and Latin American Studies, respectively. Prior to joining the T2TGlobal team, she worked for nonprofits focused on such issues as clean water and women\u2019s leadership. A North Carolina native, Suhailah earned her Bachelor\u2019s Degree from North Carolina Central University.
