Teaching antiracist math begins with conversations

In 2020 Mathkind created the Math 4 Antiracism series in response to the global uprisings sparked by the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmed Arbery, among others. We invited math educators from our network to discuss how social justice and antiracism show up in math education.

Through this process, we began to reflect on how and where antiracism exists in our flagship programs. We continue to explore and push further how we embed these values into our everyday work.
